Directed by RS Prasanna, best known for 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan', 'Sitaare Zameen Par' is described as a spiritual follow-up to Aamir’s critically acclaimed 2007 drama 'Taare Zameen Par'. The film co-stars Genelia D’Souza and introduces ten fresh faces to the screen: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.

An official adaptation of the Spanish film 'Campeones', the storyline revolves around a disgraced basketball coach who finds redemption when he’s assigned to train a team of specially abled players.
